We are incredibly proud to announce the recipient of the England Hockey Womens Team of the Year 2024-25 Award: our outstanding Womens 2nd team!

Their 2024-25 season was a masterclass in hockey excellence. Achieving a flawless record of 20 wins from 20 games, scoring an incredible 102 goals, and, remarkably, conceding none, they were crowned League Champions. This team’s commitment to playing dynamic, entertaining hockey was truly inspiring.

More than just their incredible on-pitch performance, this team is a cornerstone for developing future talent. They provide a vital, supportive environment for our aspiring junior players, allowing them to learn and grow alongside experienced teammates. Their exceptional team spirit and dedication are a testament to what’s possible when a team truly clicks.

The team’s remarkable achievements were deservedly recognized at the glamorous black-tie awards ceremony held at Athena in Leicester city centre earlier this June. The tension in the room was palpable as nominees waited, but when our Womens 2nd team was called, the joy was immense. This award is a testament to their hard work, talent, and profound impact on our club.
