Newsletter April 2009 


2 Training Sessions to go!!

Don't forget we'll be training on the 29th March and 5th April.  On the 5th April it will be a fun session for U9,U11 and U13's.  Then it's the big match of the season........  Coaches v U14/U16's!  Bring it on!!!!


Presentation Afternoon

Our annual presentations will be held on the 5th April at 2pm until 5pm.  The venue will be at our clubhouse:

There's also Manchester United v Aston Villa on at 4pm, so if we're done in time you can watch the possible premier league winners in action!!


Your Club!

Don't forget that you are all members of the club and therefore are welcome to attend socially all year round!  Other family members are welcome to join too, adults @ £25, juniors @ £5.


Club's First

We have been working towards this national accreditation all season, and we're within touching distance of the finish line!!  Inorder to achieve this we will have to host a session where we can be assessed.  So through the summer please keep a look out on your emails so you can attend!!


Results

We've had mixed fortunes in the most recent fixtures.  The U13 boy's participated in the Yahzoo County Tournament, they didn't win, but coach Tim was extremely impressed with their effort, dedication and team work and they show great promise for next year!!


The final U16's matches have mixed results:

1-7 v Aylesbury (View Match Report)

0-3 v West Herts (View Match Report)

4-2 v Winchmore Hill & Enfield (View Match Report)


The U11's also travelled to play Winchmore Hill & Enfield and also came out 6-2 winners!!

So some great results to end the season with!!!


Feedback


We will be presenting each child with a feedback form on their performance this season in the core skills areas.  This is as part of our commitment to the Clubs First accreditation.  We hope you will welcome this.


Your School

We have leaflets that you can take into your school so your mates can get involved too!  If you would like some leaflets or would like us to get intouch with your teacher and run some taster sessions please let us know!!


To Close


So I think it's been a really successful season with a relatively new set up and we will look to bring more to your hockey next season!  If you've any feedback for us or just general comments they are all welcomed and please do get in contact with me.
