Where do you play and where is your clubhouse?

How may teams do you have?

We have 2 men's sides, 3 women's sides (inc. Vets, Indoor), a mixed side and a number of academy (junior) sides which cover most abilities. View our teams here.

I would like to play but haven't played for a while.

No problem! We have a lot of people come to us who haven't played since School as well as total beginners who want to give the sport a go. We cater for all! To get an idea of what our games are like, please view our gallery. Please contact us or pop down to one of our games or training sessions and speak to our Captains.

How long does the season last?

The regular league season runs from the start of September to the end of March/start of April.

We also run a Summer League from May to late August.

Do you have summer hockey, and how does it work for new people?

Summer is a great time to get involved with our club, as well as an opportunity for club members to get to play with members they dont usually.
Summer hockey is open to all whether existing members, or potential new members. All abilities welcome, so come along for some summer fun!
We offer both Ladies and a Mens Team which we enter into a league every year.
Cost is roughly £5 -£7 per game.

Is there training over the summer?

There is no summer training, although fitness sessions are organised from early July on a weekly basis.View our training information here.

When do you play matches?

All adult league matches are played on a Saturday at various times. Summer games are often mid-week evenings. Juniors usually play on Sundays.

What are your subs?

Harrow operates a standing order system to covers subs, match fees and training fees which are paid in a number of payments across the season. Our subs are easily comparable to other clubs across North London with discounts available for students and juniors.

How do I get kit and what do I need?

Playing shirts are provided for you on match days. However, you will need to provide navy shorts/skort, yellow and navy hockey socks, astroturf boots (or trainers), shinpads and a hockey stick. A mouthguard is also highly recommended. If you are just trying out the sport and dont have a hockey stick yet please let the captain know as there are always spare sticks around. Or if you are joining us, for just a £35 joining fee you will receive socks, shorts/skort and a t-shirt.

When do you train?

Ladies 1's training takes place Wednesdays from 19:30pm to 21:30pm.

Men's training takes place Tuesdays from 19:30pm until 21:30pm.

Coaching Times on Sundays for Juniors are:


Under 6 (Reception & Year 1)  Sunday 9:30am - 10:15am


Under 8  (Year 2 & 3)              Sunday 9.30am - 10:30am


Under 10   (Years 4 & 5)          Sunday 9.30am - 11am


Under 12   (Years 6 & 7)          Tuesday* 6.30pm - 7:45pm & Sunday 9.30am - 11am


Under 14   (Years 8 & 9)          Tuesday* 6.30pm - 7:45pm & Sunday 11am - 12.30pm


Under 16  (Years 10 & 11)       Sunday 11am - 12.30pm 


Additional Under 16  - Tuesday 8-10pm boys with senior men / Wednesday 7.30 - 9.30pm girls with senior ladies.


Goalkeeper coaching - First Tuesday of every month 6.30 - 8pm for year 6+


 *Tuesday sessions will not run in December or January

What/When is Open Day?

Open Day is our welcome back/welcome to the club day. We organise mixed tournaments, taster sessions, beat the goalie and lots of other fun games at our home pitch. It is our way to help introduce new members to the club, give existing members a chance to meet more people, and give everyone a day to have some hockey fun!

Open Day is normally held on the first Saturday of September each year. We have some photos of our club day in our gallery.

What’s the social life like?

Amazing!! Our Social Secretary organsies some amazing events throughout the year. Please click here and scroll to the bottom to view our socials list of what we have been up to. There are also some photos in our gallery.  There are organised club socials every month, a fantastic end of season black tie dinner, and plenty of team based socials!  We also organise tours and get involved in tournaments througout the year.
